How to Obtain Funding for Participation in the BIP under Erasmus+ (Staff Training Mobility – STT)
Dear Participants,
To take part in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) „Improving the professional skills of academic librarians and developing a range of medical science information services”. organized by Medical University of Lodz, you may apply at your home institution for Staff Training Mobility (STT) funding within Erasmus+ programme which secure travel and cost of living.
1. Contact Your Erasmus+ Office at Your Home Institution
Each university has a dedicated office handling Erasmus+ programme, usually the International Relations Office (IRO) or Erasmus+ Office. Contact this office to get detailed information on available funding and the application process for Staff Training Mobility (STT).
2. Complete the Funding Application
Your institution will require you to submit an application for funding under Staff Training Mobility (STT).
When filling out the application, you will typically need to provide:
- Personal details (name, surname, position)
- Information about the host institution – provide the official name of our University
- BIP name and number: 2024-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000225197-1, „Improving the professional skills of academic librarians and developing a range of medical science information services”.
- Purpose of the mobility – training under the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
- Dates of the mobility – according to the BIP schedule
- Training plan (Mobility Agreement) – usually required to outline the mobility program
Note! Some institutions may require additional documents, such as an invitation letter or confirmation of participation. If needed, please contact us, and we will provide the necessary documentation.
3. Approval by Your Home Institution and Fund Allocation
- Once your application is approved by your home institution:
You will receive confirmation of Erasmus+ STT funding approval - Your institution will sign a funding agreement with you
- The funds will be allocated (as an advance payment or reimbursement after the mobility)
4. Participation in BIP and Confirmation of Mobility
During the program, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance, confirming your participation, which is required for finalizing your funding settlement with your home institution.
5. Reporting and Reimbursement After the Mobility
After completing the BIP, you must submit the following to your Erasmus+ office:
Certificate of Attendance – proof of participation
Final report in the Beneficiary Module – most institutions require this online report
Financial documents – e.g., invoices, travel tickets (as per your institution’s guidelines)
