Robin Ottjes

Medical Information Specialist – Medical Library, University Medical Centre Groningen, Netherlands

BIO

I’m a historian with a Master’s degree in late modern and contemporary history. Since 2018 I’m working as a medical information specialist at the University Medical Centre Groningen. My work can be described along three themes, namely researcher support, education and innovation. This includes (among other things) coordinating the institutional repository (Pure), open access, research analytics, impact, identifiers, profiles and reference management. At previous EAHIL conferences I’ve given presentations about the changing field of research assessment within the University Medical Centre Groningen and the development towards a research intelligence dashboard.

Interests

  • Repository/CRIS systems
  • Research analytics (Metrics, Altmetrics and now open metrics)
  • Open Access
