Lodz, the country’s third-largest city, is one of the major academic centres in Poland. The most beautiful villas and palaces create a tourist trail, allowing visitors to discover Lodz – also famous for Art Nouveau architecture. Equally popular is Piotrkowska Street – teeming with life day and night, regardless of the season, the longest promenade in Poland, where there are boutiques, clubs, pubs and monuments of famous Polish artists.
