Submissions Guidelines

Selection criteria

  • Proposals should be completed and written in standard English (US or UK).
  • The proposal should be relevant to the EAHIL 2025 Workshop and be in line with the IMAGINE theme.
  • The proposal should be original, clear and comprehensible. The abstract should not exceed the length of 500 words (but not less than 300 words).
  • The abstract should be followed by 3 chosen keywords describing the content of the proposal. The keywords are indicated in the list below. Their initial letters form the word IMAGINE – the motto of the EAHIL 2025 Workshop.
  • The abstract should follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion):
    – specifies the aims and objectives,
    – describes the methods used, research techniques, and scientific approach,
    – describes crucial study results addressing the research problem and purpose of the study.
    In case of quantitative studies:
    – the result value and level of statistical significance should be included, conclusions
    based on the data obtained in the study should be presented,
    – the applicability of the findings should be clarified, along with the importance
    of further research required for a better understanding of the research problem,
    – positive and negative findings should be presented to the same extent.
  • The Interactive Workshop and CEC template:
    • Title
    • Keywords (up to 3 keywords, 1 main keyword and 2 additional keywords)
    • Abstract (up to 500 words) – general description of the workshop/course, agenda of session (what content will be covered), including its aim, method(s), outcome(s) and, if applicable, discussion
    • Biographical note(s) (up to 500 words)
    • The duration of the CEC
      • Half a day – 3h
      • All day – 6h
    • The duration of the Interactive workshop
      • Short – 75 minutes
      • Long – 150 minutes
    • Level (select one)
      • Introductory
      • Intermediate
      • Advanced
    • Short Description for participants (up to 500 words) – the agenda of the workshop, sort of a brief plan of the workshop/course
    • Learning Outcomes (up to 500 words) – what the participants are expected to learn during your workshop/course
    • Types of activities (up to 500 words) – the description of design for interactivity, what kind of practical exercises the participants should expect (group work, individual work, speed networking, fishbowl or any other participatory activities)
